Healthy Baked Chicken Patties With Oatmeal

Ingredients

For the patties

  • 500 gm Chicken breasts ground
  • 2 tbsp instant oatmeal
  • 1 egg
  • 1 medium onion grated and strained to remove the onion juice
  • 1 tbsp pomegranate molasses optional
  • 1/2 teaspoon sodium bicarbonate powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh ginger or 1/4 teaspoon dry giniger
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinammon ground
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper ground

For the surface glaze

  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp melted butter

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix in the ground chicken with the onion, the oatmeal, the egg, the pomegranate molasses and the spices. Refrigerate for at least one hour before baking.

  2. Preheat the oven to 200 C. Place a parchment sheet in a baking then shape a 1.5-2 cm patties and place in the baking pan

  3. Combine the tomato paste, honey and melted butter and brush the surface of the patties with this mix then bake for 10-15 minutes. Serve
