Orange ginger mint smoothie

Ingredients

  • 200 ml orange juice
  • 100 ml water
  • 3 tbsp Honey
  • 2 medium carrots
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger minced
  • 1/2 cup fresh mint leaves

Instructions

  1. In a pot, on medium heat, boil the carrots for 5 minutes until tender then slice them.

  2. In the blender, add orange juice, sliced carrots, water. blend for 30 seconds or until carrot slices are fully blended.

    you can strain this mixture before adding the rest of the ingredients if you don't like the texture of the tiny carrot pieces.

  3. Add the minced ginger, honey and fresh mint leaves to the previous mixture and blend for extra 15 seconds. Serve
